Quiet Confidence

· Blends
broken image

I am working on a blend for a client - actually three blends for an Initial Consult - and she really loves Vetiver, so I wanted to definitely use it in one of her blends. Vetiver is a tricky oil in that it is very strong and can be overpowering. It really lingers. I wanted to make sure that the other oils I chose would be able to hold their own with it. I asked her to fill out this form that I use with consults, so I got a better understanding of what aromas she liked/disliked. We also chatted about the mood she was going for (she provided me with very strong visuals), so I felt like I had good direction to go forth and blend. This is what I landed on: Yuzu (Citrus junos), Palmarosa (Cymbopogon martinii), Cardamom (Elettaria cardamomum), and Vetiver (Vetiveria zizanioides). (I am not putting down the exact formula because this is a unique creation for a client and I would like it to remain proprietary). But nevertheless, these are the oils that I used and I love it. Energetically, Yuzu is inspiring and empowering; Palmarosa is soft and cleansing; Cardamom is clarifying and balancing; and Vetiver is restorative and grounding. They make for a lovely combination. Diffusing this during meditation would help with getting in touch with what truly matters to you - whether it is uncovering and discarding old ideas, or discovering new ones - and that quiet, confidence we have within.
