stuffy

· Blends

Everything is stuffy. head. ears. nose. Here’s a blend I am diffusing now to help me decongest: Peppermint (Mentha piperita), Eucalyptus Blue (Eucalyptus globulus), Tea Tree (Melaleuca alternifolia), Pine (Pinus sylvestris), and Himalayan Cedarwood (Cedrus deodara). Its aromatic profile is Minty 48.8%, Coniferous 23.3%, Herbaceous 14.0%, and Woody 14.0%. All of these oils are are purported to help with congestion. I decided to go with Peppermint rather than Spearmint (Mentha spicata) because Peppermint is high in menthol (25-50%) and menthone (12-44%) whereas spearmint is not. I chose Eucalyptus Blue rather than Eucalyptus Radiata (Eucalyptus radiata) because it has the highest cineol content. I chose Himalayan Cedarwood over Atlas Cedarwood (Cedrus atlantica) because the latter is endangered. I am already feeling some relief.
