Stream of consciousness here. This oil is named Manuka (Leptospermum scoparium). The name Manuka reminds me of the song “Mandinka” by Sinead O’Connor. I discovered Sinead O’Connor because I was a huge INXS fan and Michael Hutchense was a huge fan of her. Michael Hutchense is from Australia. Australia is northwest of New Zealand. Manuka is also called New Zealand Tea Tree Oil.
Smells like heavy grape, floral, and a bit green and a bit spicy. I’ve read it described as earthy and animalic. So maybe: fruity, floral, earthy?
