Ground and Reconnect

· Blends
broken image

I wanted to make a blend with Ho Wood (Cinnamomum camphora var linalool). When I first smelled it (yesterday) it reminded me of Bergamot (Citrus bergamia) for some reason. I am still learning about scents so one day I will be able to explain why. Maybe because they are both sweet? Since How Wood is a middle note, and Bergamot is a top note, I went on a search for a base and landed on Myrrh (Commiphora myrrha).

Bergamot has a sweet, citrusy aroma. Emotionally, it is uplifting and calming. Energetically Bergamot helps us connect with possibilities. Ho Wood has a sweet, clean, some say fruity, aroma. Emotionally, it is calming and relaxing. Energetically, it fosters self-confidence and peace with ourselves and our circumstances. Finally, Myrrh is calming and stabilizing. Energetically, it cultivates inner peace and helps us reconnect with our physical space.

I recommend this blend for times when you want to get really grounded in the present moment and reconnect with your inner being. Enjoy!
